HOW IT WORKS

How to plan family meals and build a grocery list

Choose the meals your family wants to plan, dietary preferences and optional exclusions. Lunch and dinner can be a single dish or a complete, optional sequence of first course, main course, side dish, and fruit or dessert. The expanded dish catalog can fill the whole schedule or only empty spaces, while locked meals and free-text dishes remain under your control. Sharing opens the device share sheet, WhatsApp or email; downloadable calendar reminders cover daily, weekly or monthly meals and ingredients without storing recipients on CalcuPop.

Build your family meal plan

Choose the meals you want to organize and plan 7, 14 or 30 days. Fill each field yourself, use automatic suggestions and lock any dish you want to keep when the plan is generated again.

Create the grocery list

Ingredients from selected dishes are combined according to the number of servings. Enter what you already have, add extra products and choose a printable layout with two or three products per row.

Print the meal plan as a PDF

Review printable previews for the meal plan, grocery list, and calorie and activity summary. Print completed sheets or leave them blank when you prefer to write by hand.

Share the plan and add reminders

Share the schedule from your device and download the ICS calendar file. Import reminders into your calendar and share them with anyone involved in organizing the meals.

  • Suggested-dish quantities are multiplied by the number of servings and combined into one grocery list.
  • Free-text dishes stay editable, but their ingredients cannot be inferred reliably and must be added manually.
  • Calorie values are editable estimates per serving, not individualized nutrition advice.
  • Activity energy is shown separately as an estimate and does not automatically prescribe additional food.
  • The planner and saved draft remain in the browser unless the user deliberately shares, prints or downloads a calendar file.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I send tonight’s menu to my family?+

Yes. Select lunch, dinner or the full day, review the message and open the device share sheet, WhatsApp or email. You choose the recipient in that app.

Can reminders be sent automatically?+

The lightweight version creates a calendar file containing lunch and dinner reminders. Fully automatic email or WhatsApp delivery would require an external service, verified recipients and consent, so it is not silently enabled.

Does an exclusion make a meal allergy-safe?+

No. It filters the built-in suggestions only. Always verify labels, recipes, cross-contact and individual medical needs.

Can I print a blank planner?+

Yes. The meal plan, grocery list and calorie/activity summary can each be printed with current data or blank for handwriting.
