Are Mbps and MB/s the same?+
No. Mbps means megabits per second; MB/s means megabytes per second. One byte contains eight bits.
Why is my real download slower?+
Protocol overhead, Wi-Fi, network congestion, other devices and the source server can all reduce effective speed.
