HOW IT WORKS

A result to understand, not just read.

Bring fuel, insurance, vehicle tax, maintenance, finance and recurring extras into one annual car budget. The monthly and per-kilometre figures make different vehicles and travel alternatives easier to compare.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does annual car cost calculator work?+

Fuel cost comes from annual distance, real fuel economy and pump price. All other recurring amounts are annualised and added to obtain the ownership budget.

What should I check before relying on the result?+

Depreciation and unexpected repairs are not automatic. Add them as a separate allowance if you need a fuller total-cost estimate.

    02 · WORKED EXAMPLE

    Practical example

    • Use kilometres from the last year and include servicing, tyres, inspections, parking and finance payments where relevant.
The result shows annual cost, monthly average and cost per kilometre for the assumptions entered.

03 · HOW TO READ IT

    How to interpret the result

    • Change one input at a time to understand which assumption has the greatest effect on the result.
    04 · LIMITS
